Wild Skies Outfitting is owned by Pat Foster and Dana Fowler. It is our goal to provide a quality outdoor experience, whether it be hunting, fishing or packing into the mountains. We look forward to getting to know you and your family, friends, or colleagues during your stay with us. We believe in creating lasting memories while building long term relationships with all of our clients. We offer Wilderness Trips as well as trips with lodging or a combination of both!

A little bit more about us:

Pat Foster grew up in Wyoming with his 26 years experience highlighted by his ranch work, flying, construction business, hunting, guiding and parenting. Through Pat’s vast knowledge he brings quality outdoor experiences, be it with a gun, bow, fly rod, fishing pole, or a camera. He has spent many years perfecting the art of hunting and guided many hunters in a successful hunt. There is something very special about Pat’s unique ability to find his prey, he is a natural hunter with instincts that only a few are fortunate to have.

He takes pride in guiding hunters for: elk, deer, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, moose, antelope, buffalo, bobcats, and mountain lions. He also hunts coyotes, birds, and varmints. Pat is an avid fisherman, as well and is experienced in guiding for fishing on lakes streams, and creeks, for trout, walleye, and bass. This includes camping, hiking, back packing, packing with a string of horses and mules, from several hours to day trips or week long trips.

Dana Fowler grew up in the mountains of Wyoming and Montana, and spent the early part of her life working side by side with her grandfather in the farm and ranching business. From there she worked for the Forest Service, BLM and in the oil and gas industry as a consultant and environmental planner, and then into project managing. It has become her vision and purpose to create lasting life experiences through the sharing of the pristine Northwest areas of her childhood through providing quality outdoor guided activities.

About Wild Skies Outfitting’s Area:

Pat and Dana together set a goal to find an outfitting area that fit our vision and purpose to provide outstanding and memorable outdoor experiences. After several years of searching in the Fall of 2007 we chose the Anaconda Pintler Wilderness Area located in the

Beaverhead/Deerlodge National Forest, giving us over 300,000 acres. With our combined experiences we strive to provide our clients with exceptional hunting, fishing, and recreational enjoyment.
